Fender has been one of the most iconic and celebrated electric guitar brands since 1946, and and has been crucial to the success of a wide variety of artists.

Fender revolutionised guitars forever when they released the Telecaster, the world's first successful solid body electric, in 1951. Commonly known as the 'Tele', it remains a mainstay on stages and in performances across the globe. Three years later Fender introduced the Stratocaster, arguably the quintessential electric guitar, whose iconic design and sound have been sought after for generations. The 'Strat' has been the instrument of choice for true rock 'n' roll legends such as Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton and David Gilmour.

Fender's hugely popular Offset electric guitars offer a fresh alternative for guitarists who desire something a little different. The Jazzmaster and Jaguar were once Fender's premium level guitars aimed at jazz musicians, but quickly became favoured by surf and punk bands and nowadays are commonly seen throughout the alternative and indie rock scene. Other offset series include the hollowbody Specials, the Duo Sonic and the Mustang, most famously played by Nirvana's Kurt Cobain.
