65Amps Tupelo Head

The 65Amps Tupelo Head recreates American 6v6 tube amp tones of the late 50's and early 60's, but with some modern conveniences, and without the finicky behavior vintage amps are known for. The 65 Amps Tupelo Head pushes 20 watts from a dual 6V6 power section, with three 12ax7s preamp tubes, and a solid-state rectifier for tighter response. One of it's most useful features is 65 Amps "Master Voltage" circuitry, a unique technology that retains the feel and tone of a cranked amp even when the Tupelo is turned down to bedroom levels. Between the tone knob and the "smooth" and "bump" switches, the 65Amps Tupelo Head can conjure up an impressive array of classic American amp sounds, from Buddy Holly cleans to fuzzed-out Neil Young tones.
