Fender's New Player Series Telecasters are now closer to the American made guitars than ever before. The question is, is it worth upgrading a Mexican Tele with American parts, or does the overall cost mean that you might as well spend the extra on the Pro series or buy a used American Standard. In 2019, I decided to mod my Tele to make the most of an already great guitar.
