It's back to solid-body electric land, and today's pick is a killer 1959 Fender Jazzmaster in a great trans blonde finish! This guitar is completely original from headstock to bridge, and really great condition at that. Of course, at this age there are signs of wear and finish has darkened a bit over time, but it all looks so great! The neck and fretboard are very comfortable, with plenty of life in the frets and your hand doesn't get hung up at any point on it. Of course, this has the excellent and smooth long-arm tremolo system and a great pair of pickups - if you're into offset bodies, this one surely won't disappoint! For amplification today we've got a 2010 Goodsell Valpreaux 21 - a lightweight, 21 watt, 1×12″ combo powered by a pair of unusual 6973 power tubes. Its running a 12″ WGS Green Beret speaker, and has a unique tone as you'll hear when our own Karl Van Der Velden takes the setup for a spin!
