Purchase the dyes here: https://angelusdirect.com/?rfsn=566896.75dad582
You guys asked for it. A black cherry burst with Angelus leather dyes. This is my double neck tele for Kevin Bond of EnMinor. He needs a 12 string and a 6 string for live performances. I built the carved top custom from him a while back and he needed another guitar. This is a Korina back with a Quilted maple top from Kimball Hardwoods. Take a look at Kimball's site, the best figured wood on the internet!!! https://kimballhardwoods.com/
Basic Process is to get the body sanded to 320. Then add angelus black leather dye. Then sand it off with 320. add angelus orange, don't let it dry and add red right over it. Let it sit for 24 hours, and use a pad to pull some of the color off the top. then I use mohawk sanding sealer and whatever finish you want to put on this.
I have been doing guitars for 20 years. I am one of the original youtube luthier's. I used to do inside the luthier's shop. now I am just BigDGuitars
