Breedlove's Chris Steele introduces the company's special new series.
Hard to believe that Breedlove has been making fine acoustic instruments for a quarter century. In celebration of 25 years in the business, the company has released a line of 25th Anniversary models, and Chris Steele takes us through each of the four new models. The cutaway Oregon Concert CE 25th features a Port Orford cedar top with myrtlewood back and sides, while the cutaway Pursuit Concert 25th Anniversary boasts an Engelmann spruce top with figured koa body. Personally designed by Kim Breedlove, the Kim Breedlove Signature Concert combines a redwood top with walnut back and sides and has a limited production run of 10, while the Brazilian Concert offers the classic combination of Sitka spruce top and Brazilian rosewood ribs and back.
