MASSIVE!
That's how this fuzz box sounds. The MXR Custom Shop La Machine gives you one of the biggest and least polite fuzzes I have heard in a long time. It has plenty of gain but cleans up nicely.
The octave switch adds a high octave to the effect but don't expect the old Octavia tone. This is something different. Great tone and lots of fun.
