Kelton Swade's vintage replica guitars are amongst the most sought after instruments in the high-end market. Kelton single handedly crafts each guitar from the best quality timber blanks, sympathetically distressing the woodwork, finish and hardware to provide musicians with guitars that go beyond mere 'relics' into becoming true replicas of prized classics from the golden age of the 50s and 60s.

This lovely Kelton Swade original is a '57 era S-type known as an AVRS. Beginning with a fine slab of aged Swamp Ash for the body, Swade carefully shapes and sculpts his guitars, finishing them in nitrocellulose and distressing them carefully to complete the feel. This particular AVRS is finished in a lovely 50s-correct two tone sunburst.
Kelton has chosen a medium C-shaped profile for this guitar, using a player-friendly 9.5" radius fingerboard adorned with 6105-sized nickel frets.
A trio of low output, vintage-voiced single coil pickups from Kent Armstrong translate all of the chime and detail of the lively sounding wood, making this a guitar that really sings!
