The EVH Striped Series features a basswood body with a red/white/black striped finish, just like Eddie's infamous axe. The graphite-reinforced maple neck has a simple hand rubbed oil finish, giving it a natural, easy feel that really lets the wood breathe. The maple fretboard has 22 jumbo frets, dot inlays and a 12" to 16" compound radius. Electronically, this guitar has everything you need and nothing that'll slow you down. There's one direct mount Wolfgang Humbucker in the bridge position and one volume control. (It's labeled "Tone," but it's a volume control - just like Eddie's guitar!) The EVH-Branded Floyd Rose locking trem system has the EVH D-Tuna, so tuning down to get that low D is hassle-free. A perfect guitar for the Van Halen fan or anyone looking for a high-octane shred machine.
