1996 Peavey Wolfgang Prototype #1 Guitar - Sustainiac Demo
This 1996 Peavey Wolfgang Prototype #1 Guitar was crafted by Master Luthier Tim Litchfield in 1996 especially for Eddie Van Halen and was used by Eddie as a personal, touring and studio guitar. The Music Farm acquired this majestic guitar in 2009 and has been in The Vault ever since! This is the FIRST time that it's been played since 2009!
This was the first incarnation of the Peavey Wolfgang guitars and was personally verified by the builder and creator, Tim Litchfield, that this guitar is indeed the #1 Prototype, which can be read in the following statement:
"As far as the Wolfie's electronics go, the only thing that I can think of is that Eddie had someone maybe do a repair or something and they signed it, hard to say. There was only one more black flattop with a sustainiac pickup. It did have a stamped serial number, where this one only had a small sticker that likely fell off. The one that you have for a fact is #1."
To add to this already mystical and storied guitar, it was featured on the front cover of the April 1996 edition of Guitar World, where Billy Corgan from The Smashing Pumpkins is pictured holding this exact guitar next to Eddie Van Halen.
This will be available to add to your collection soon at www.TheMusicFarm.com.
