We've got something a little different for you today - the folks at StewMac sent us over a box of goodies to help promote their holiday sales, the first of which is the Premium Mahogany Tonewood Speaker Cabinet kit, which we built from scratch, and it turned out AWESOME. Our demo shows the step-by-step build of the cab, followed by a run-through with the mighty Orange Amps Micro Terror.

"From our exclusive partnership with Taylor Guitars, we've created this easy-to-build speaker cabinet kit from premium mahogany tonewood. Now your rig can finally look as good as your guitar!
Not only do these cabinets look amazing, they're also sustainably made. All of the mahogany is from premium off-cuts from Taylor's guitar manufacturing process. Rather than throwing this beautiful wood away, each piece is precision CNC-routed into the interlocking speaker cabinet walls. New to building? This is a super easy project anyone can do. All of the parts are pre-cut and pre-routed—with just some light sanding and gluing your build is done. The baffle is also pre-cut and sized to fit many different speaker brands without modification.
All you need are a handful of simple tools—most are probably in your garage! Not only is the cabinet wood included, we also include the baffle, grill cloth, handle, feet, wiring harness, and jack—everything you need is in the box! This is a great first woodworking project, and an amazing gift for any player.
And it's easy to finish too—just wipe on or spray a clear coat to really make the wood come alive. Even just a simple coat of ColorTone Fretboard Finishing Oil looks amazing. There's no limit to how you can customize the look: tinted colors, unique stains, it's all up to you.
Not your basic run of the mill cab, this custom cab can be open OR closed back. The top back panel is removable—reshape your tone in an instant. Want more punch and bass response? Close the back. Want a warmer, room-filling sound? Open the back. The choice is yours.
The hardest part is choosing your speaker! The cabs come in 10" or 12" sizes for maximum tonal variation. If you're looking for a fast attack with more defined highs and bass, choose the 10". For more output and more articulate sounding mids and lows, the classic 12" size is what you need."

Thanks for your continued support, and remember, these videos are intended to show off the PEDALS and what they can do, not what a brilliant guitar player I am - there are plenty of shredder videos out there, and besides, I'm really a drummer :)
