Today, we're blasting off into the Andromeda, from Seymour Duncan. The Andromeda is a fully-furnished dynamic delay pedal with plenty of options for the discerning time traveler. The Andromeda is as much a performance tool as it is a delay machine, with plenty of options available for expressive players that demand more from their effects. With eight delay modes divided into analog and digital, the Andromeda covers the bases of delay while introducing some inventive new modes such as Reverse Ping Pong. Featuring a full payload of parameters including highly-customizable controls such as Saturation and Tone, the Andromeda offers full control over standard delay functions, then adds tap tempo with a handful of tap subdivisions, selectable trails, 128 presets, true stereo ins and outs, as well as full MIDI integration with In and Thru jacks. What sets the Andromeda apart from the rest of the delays in its class is its Dynamic Expression section. The lower left section of the Andromeda's control panel gives you a switching matrix where you can select which parameters you'd like to control using your picking strength. You can set how just how much the picking strength manipulates the controls, and you can set the threshold of control using the illuminated knob. You can control Mix, Modulation or Saturation dynamically, giving you a pick-controlled expression pedal that is capable of pushing your tone to the outer limits. And just like all Seymour Duncan pedals, the Andromeda Dynamic Delay is designed in California and then made right here in the USA.
