Today we wanted to do something a little different from the tried and true classic Fender and Gibson instruments, and James zeroed in on an understated 1962 Kay K-300 in our stage room. A US-built guitar in a somewhat Strat-like body shape, with a chunky neck and unique pair of 'speed bump' pickups, this one comes in as a low priced but great quality instrument! We're running this one through the 2015 Marshall Astoria Custom amp we featured yesterday, once again in the hands of our friend Dan Phelps!
Edit: Apologies for the camera getting knocked out of focus for part of the video - it was a busy day and we didn't have a chance to reshoot!
