Welcome back to ProGuitarShop and ToneReport.com. This is La Calavera from Alexander Pedals. Paying tribute to phasers of the past as well as the future, La Calavera features three distinct modes that range from classic phase tones to interdimentional phase shifting exploration. La Calavera's Suave mode has its roots in the past, featuring a lush 10-stage phase tone with adjustable feedback. Dinámica mode works under the power of the user's input signal, with full control over all settings. In this mode, the speed of the phaser is determined by the player's picking strength, and the controls can adjust the maximum speed of the phaser as well as the sensitivity to a player's picking strength. In Loco mode, the phaser engine is locked in sync with a ring modulator, providing some serious alien communicator tones when pushed to its limits. Each mode is governed by global Rate, Mix and Intensity controls, with a separate Tweak control that controls different parameters depending on the mode. Just like all Alexander Pedals, La Calavera is built with love in North Carolina USA using the finest materials.
