http://digitech.com/en-US Welcome back to ProGuitarShop and ToneReport.com, today we're rejoining the TRIO by DigiTech. The Trio's latest firmware updates have addressed common issues and added a feature boost to expand creativity. First and foremost, modes accessed by DigiTech's FS3X footswitch have drastically expanded, and are accessible upon connecting the switch. New modes Live and Live Mixer, which offer greater features for performing such as instrument mutes and Learn Mode exclusive functions. One of the issues about the Trio's rhythm section was the virtual bass player's tendency to overplay. For those not wanting to jam with Jaco, DigiTech has implemented the same "Simple Bass" mode from the TRIO+, which is accessable in all modes. Bandleaders can now pre-programmed a music style before the TRIO has "learned" your part, eliminating the need to hastily apply a style after you teach it. Other adjustments include a tweak to the bass playing algorithm, which keeps the bass more squarely in the lower registers when playing along in normal mode, as well as several other bug fixes to make the Digitech TRIO even better!
