At guitarguitar we always try to work as closely with our brands as possible, and in this case we had the unique opportunity to visit the Martin factory in Nazareth Pennsylvania and spec out our own Custom Shop models. This Custom Dreadnought Sinker Mahogany has been made with our own hand-selected choice of woods from Martin's Custom Shop selection, ensuring these are of exceptional quality from aesthetics to tone,

Whether you are a collector or are looking for a fantastic sounding boutique acoustic, the Custom Dreadnought Sinker Mahogany will give you the most exceptional Martin quality available in a special guitarguitar spec'd package.

Constructed from very unique woods with incredible grain and excellent tonal properties, we wanted to make sure that our Custom orders were going to be exceptional in every way.

Sinker wood is taken from logs that have been submerged in swamps or rivers for sometimes up to a century! These logs were from Belize, and have been traced back in documents to at least the 1930s.
