The best thing about attending a NAMM show is meeting random people and making new friendships that turn into fruitful partnerships.
While this year’s NAMM was smaller and less busy than pre-pandemic shows, one of the highlights was bumping into Guitarist Ed Zylka.
Ed stopped by the booth to check out our TWA pedals, and as soon as he plugged in I knew that I was in for a sonic treat.
Ed’s unorthodox picking style and keen sense of harmonic structure really stood out to me. He is a technically proficient player but doesn’t sacrifice musicality to get that point across.
Ed also exhibited an in-depth understanding of effects and how to play to them rather than trying to force his playing style through them.
Needless to say, I was very impressed and got Ed’s contact info in hopes of having him demo our products to the masses.
