The Vertigo can be many things... you can use it straight out of the box and it will give you a flexible Tremolo. with the APP, it can be totally different pedals... phaser, leslie... way cool... in conjunction with other Source Audio pedals and the NEURO HUB, this thing becomes a Midi Capable Multi Effect !!! KILLER!
