Awolnation's Drew Stewart Found Diverse Sound with American Standard | Fender

With heavy touring support planned for latest album 'Run,' AWOLNATION guitarist Drew Stewart was looking for his main onstage axe and picked up a brand new Fender American Standard Strat HH.

"I feel like AWOL, we are a pretty heavy band and I felt like the humbuckers were something we needed," he said. "Right when I plugged it in, I was blown away with how it sounded. Blown away instantly. I loved the way it played. It was just easy to play and so I haven't looked back. I've played with it every since I first put it on. And like I said, I love the way it sounds. It's diverse. You change from the bridge pickup to the neck, and you can get a well diverse sound so it's perfect for our band."
