In this clip Sam first of all plays the straight up clean tone with a pick with no FX and EQ all set to 12 o'clock(0.00-0.55) before engaging the valve emulated drive(set at roughly 2 o'clock) to add some dirt and grit to proceedings.(0.55-1.53)
This recording is a blend of the RM-500's inbuilt DI plus the mic'd up cabinet which was an Aston Spirit.
