It certainly is not all that often that we see a 'shade top' Martin come through the door, even less so a shade top D-45! This is a rare one from 1979 and is an absolute beauty in both look and sound. Featuring a Sitka Spruce top, Indian Rosewood back and sides, along with all of the fancy appointments such as multilayer abalone trim, gold hardware, and abalone inlays all throughout the neck and headstock. This one is in very good condition and honestly its hard to find a better acoustic than this!
