This is the Catalinbread Galileo MkII, a fresh reboot of Catalinbread's celebrated drive pedal, updated with a simplified layout and a compact, pedalboard-friendly enclosure. The Galileo IS Brian May in a box, with an actual Rangemaster-style treble booster circuit pushing a reconstructed AC30 preamp, built with JFET's instead of tubes. The result is the ultimate Queen tone, and because of its amp-like design, the Galileo behaves just an amplifier, exhibiting incredible dynamic range and a loving relationship with your guitar's volume knob. Each Galileo is built by hand in Portland, Oregon, like all of Catalinbread's excellent effects pedals, and is wired for true bypass.
