Day 23 of the Tones For Tache campaign in support of Movember 2014. For more on Movember, please go here http://uk.movember.com/
We were treated to a sneak preview of this pedal in prototype form back in June 2014 thanks to its designer Yuki Hayashi and Brit blues guitarist Matt Schofield (alongside his MS SOV Overdrive). To watch that video, go here… http://youtu.be/E0UiwnHYCYE
This is the production version that’s now available, and in this video Mick runs through some of the factory preset sounds, stored in positions 91 to 96, using a Gibson Derek Trucks Signature SG.
Some brief feature points on the Flight Time Digital Delay include: up to 9999ms delay (nearly 10 seconds); 99 preset positions; high- and low-pass filters; unique BPM analyser for real-time tempo matching, up to +/- 20 per cent. There’s also modulation, delay phase reversal, ‘Sound Hold’ function, record and repeat looper (up to 20 seconds of loop), continuous trails while switching presets, subdivision, up to 3dB boost on any preset, tap tempo and, of course, full MIDI controllability.
These are the presets we used…
91 – long delay 1
92 – long delay 2, includes modulation and LPF and HPF
93 – long delay 3, includes strong modulation and LPF
94 – dotted-eighth-note delay
95 – short delay 1
96 – short delay 2
Guitarist will do a full demo of the pedal, including a closer look at some of the more involved features and so on, in due course.
