You just heard the Rockett Tim Pierce Overdrive, the signature dual-channel drive pedal of renowned studio ace Tim Pierce, who has lent his signature six-string stylings to iconic recordings from Rick Springfield, Bruce Springsteen, Madonna, Eric Clapton, Michael Jackson, and many more. Tim's favorite amp is his trusty Naylor SD60 head, so when it came time to design his signature overdrive for J Rockett Audio Designs, Rockett sought to replicate the SD60's fat, singing lead sounds and punchy rhythm tones in pedal form. Its footswitchable "Power Amp" channel emulates the 5881 valves found in the power section of Tim's Naylor, and when engaged it imparts a realistic, amp-like saturation and fatness to your tone, even at low volumes. It can be used alone as a boost, or cascaded with the drive section for tones that range from classic grit to smooth, modern sustain.
