Behind the Scenes with Butch Walker and the Acoustic Pro Amp Series | Fender

After testing out Fender’s new Acoustic Pro Amp Series in his studio for the past few weeks, singer/songwriter/producer Butch Walker came away impressed with the way they heightened the natural sound of an acoustic guitar.

As Walker explained, that is one of the most important things when it comes to an acoustic amp.

“I can’t stand the way that an acoustic sounds when it is DIY’ed straight into a board or something or on stage either,” he said in an exclusive interview with Fender. “They just don't sound like the acoustic. They sound very planky and tinny.

“It has a really big mid-rangey warm thing that I love in the acoustic instrument itself, so the fact that the amp is voiced that way is kind of nice.”
