You just heard not one, but two different tremolos, courtesy of the Josh Smith Dual Trem by J Rockett Audio Designs. This versatile pedal meets the needs of gigging players who don't have the luxury of bending down and carefully dialing in new settings mid-song. The Josh Smith Dual Trem is based on 'brownface' amp tremolo, a truly timeless modulation sound with a smooth sine wave. The Boost knob is a handy feature which counteracts any perceived volume drop some users experience with tremolo circuits. The left footswitch toggles between L/R tremolo presets, each with its own unique rate and depth settings. This simple arrangement is deceptively deep, as players can set the Left to twice or half the speed of the Right setting. For example, you can create two different sounds with equal rates by only varying the depths. Or try turning the depth control all the way down on one side for a nice transparent boost. Dual LEDs pulse with the rate of the tremolo so players can easily tell which speed they need, even on a pitch-black stage. Like all Rockett pedals, the Josh Smith Dual Trem is wired for true bypass switching and is hand-built in the USA.
