Paying tribute to the original Music Man design from the 70s. This Music Man StingRay 4 bass combines a timeless shape with modern features. A double cutaway allows easier access to higher frets for smoother play. Whilst the ash body yields bright and balanced tones with a strong mid-range. The 6-bolt sculpted neck joint allows players to have unhindered access to the maple neck and fingerboard.
Powered by a single ceramic humbucker, the Music Man StingRay produces a big sound, with hot output. In addition, there is an 2-band preamp on-board for an even wider range of sounds. The StingRay benefits from high quality hardware such as BM Schaller tuning machines, an updated truss rod and a fixed bridge for long lasting reliability. Finished in Classic Natural, this bass is perfect for a classic rock performance.
