Dunlop is very proud to present two signature pedals that were developed in collaboration with Joe Bonamassa, an artist who is famed for not only being one of the most talented guitarists working today but who also owns one of the most discerning ears when it comes to guitar tone and gear. Joe talks to us about the passion and dedication he has for his craft, the story behind the creation of his signature pedals working alongside Dunlop's product designer Jeorge Tripps, and gives an intimate solo performance where he features his use of these electronics.

JOE BONAMASSA SIGNATURE CRY BABY:
Specially engineered to fit in perfectly with Joe's system, from the way it looks to the way it sounds, this Cry Baby Wah sports a classy copper top with a smooth-finish black body on the outside. On the inside, it features large, vintage-style thru-hole components, a Halo inductor (for added harmonic content), an output buffer (to prevent impedance imbalance with vintage fuzz pedals), and a switch for true-bypass or non-true-bypass operation (Joe prefers non-True Bypass as it darkens the high end). With its huge vocal sweep range, this is one of the most expressive Cry Babys ever, and it's Joe's tool of choice to accentuate every soulful bend and bluesy wail. "The first pedal I ever purchased was a Cry Baby, 25 years ago," he says. "I am so honored to have my name on this pedal and hope it brings you as much fun as it brings me every night on stage."
JOE BONAMASSA SIGNATURE FUZZ FACE:
Following in the footsteps of Fuzz Face masters Eric Johnson, David Gilmour, and Jimi Hendrix—Joe Bonamassa relies on his Fuzz Face to deliver his trademark searing leads. Tested and developed over several world tours, the JBF3 Joe Bonamassa Signature Fuzz Face is voiced specifically for Joe's humbucker-driven tone, adding sustain and thickness for a rich, creamy fuzz. This pedal's hand-wired circuitry is built around matched NOS Russian military germanium transistors for their characteristic warmth and growl. The JBF3 also features classic grey Cliff jacks and Omeg pots all housed in a polished copper finish that will patina over time. "I wanted this Fuzz Face to be a pedal that would instantly transform your tone," Joe says. "It drives you to a different place as a player. Kick on the inspiration box!" Production of the Joe Bonamassa Signature Fuzz Face is limited to a single batch each year.
