All Gibson & Epiphone SG guitars are neck heavy that is a problem. Here's a modification that works brilliantly and one I modified from what Tony Iommi did on his guitars.

All Gibson and Epiphone guitars - well all SG type guitars generally suffer from the 'neck heavy' syndrome. A problem certainly if you have never experienced the problem and for some it can result in the selling of the guitar!
But there are a number of ways that you could solve the problem, and I discuss a couple of ways, one you should not do, and one that is similar to that which Tony Iommi uses on his SG guitar - he seems to have it solved.
So I just show you what I did, there's a 'before' and an 'after' example so you can see the difference. The parts cost me about £4 ($6) so anyone can do this but just be careful and heed my comments as I show you whet to do. One more thing - you should find a 'hardened' screw if you can find one and use that because the mounting does get some weight on it in use.
I hope you like the video and please sub, if you have other modifications for the neck drop on SG guitars then post them in the text area.
