The Total Tone '65 Stratocaster is hand crafted at the Fender Custom Shop and contains distinct features aimed for the ultimate vintage tone. The Olympic White Closet Classic Strat has the look of a long lost gem with authentic checking that only comes from a thin nitrocellulose lacquer finish. Its 1 piece neck is made from high grade quartersawn maple shaped to an accurate mid 60's "C" profile. There are also 2 unique features that set this guitar apart from the rest. First, this Custom Shop Strat is loaded with a custom set of Lineage Black pickups, which are wound just for the 60's Total Tone Strats. Lineage Black single coils are spec'd for a balanced & refined tone that excels in just about any genre thanks to it's flatter EQ and Alnico V magnets. Secondly, Fender utilizes the retooled, redesigned hardware made for the American Vintage series to provide the '65 Tone Tone Strat with outstanding vintage accuracy.
