Lifted from the venerable MultiDrive, itself a Swiss Army Knife of dirt capable of serving up a zillion flavours, the Drive Series from Empress Effects offers the former's individual components in three simple packages.
The Fuzz is my favourite as it has killer tones that range from garage sputz to arena indulgence. The Germ Drive is great, too, and brings to mind a classic British Overdriver on steroids. The Distortion gives you three degrees of filth - Mild, Crunch and Lead - and is also very versatile with a particularly cutting midrange focus.
The EQ sections on these pedals shouldn't be underestimated: the basic control names of Treble and Bass belie a seriously powerful tone shaping facility across all of these pedals.
Highly recommended. I've given the Fuzz my own Top Pick award.
