The Story behind this video: Gabriel made me an "honorary Mexican" set of strings to celebrate our mutual love for tacos. I decided I would keep them on the guitar until one broke or they were just too nasty to play. It turns out that neither one of those things happened and I figured it was enough at the one year point. My guitar is in need of a little electrical work and a good set up which further enforced my need to change strings.
I used to be hesitant to tell people how good the strings were. #1 I simply hate the snake oil salesmen in the gear world. And #2 it took me a while to really believe that the strings were as good as they are even after playing them for as long as I have.
No piece of gear, no matter how well made, is impervious to use. Gabriel's strings on the other hand seem to be about as well made as it gets. Go buy a few packs today!
