This "Hendrix" Stratocaster has a solid alder body, contoured on the back and lower bass bout that has been professionally re-finished many years ago in Olympic White and weighs 7.40 lbs. One-piece 'birds-eye' maple neck with a nut width of 1 5/8 inches, a scale length of 25 1/2 inches and a very comfortable medium-to-fat neck profile. Veneer rosewood fretboard with 21 original frets and pearloid dot position markers. Large headstock with decal with Fender logo in black with gold trim. Three light gray bottom single-coil pickups with staggered polepieces and outputs of 5.48k, 5.40k, and 5.50k. There is some light finish checking and a few miniscule surface marks. The re-fin is of the highest professional standard and was most probably done in the eighties. The 'Birds-Eye' pattern on the face of the headstock and the back of the neck is quite beautiful and this 'Hendrix' Strat is an exceptional player in excellent plus (9.00) condition. Complete with the original tremolo arm. Housed in its original Fender black hardshell case with dark orange plush lining (9.00).
