A guitar upgrade can only be as successful as the pickups used in the project. The original Donner pickups left a little to be desired so we decided to swap out the single coils for an old set of Fender pickups I had sitting around. I am not too sure how well this combination will work but at least it is a starting point. We can always upgrade them again if required.

To be transparent filming a pickup installation is not easy especially when you have big hands. I did my best but the video is not a Hollywood production.
