This MSL Limited Run PRS Hollowbody II Standard features mahogany sides, back and top. This makes the sound a little warmer than the usual maple top and back construction. The maple neck is PRS's Pattern shape. We ditched the typical rosewood fretboard and opted for a Brazilian Rosewood fretboard with old school "Green Ripple Bird" inlays. Though it's almost impossible to find on new guitars, Brazilian Rosewood is one of the best tonewoods on the planet. The Hollowbody II has always been ahead of the pack in terms of electronics, so we didn't tweak the setup all that much. There is a 57/08 pickup in the bridge, a 59/09 in the neck, an LR Baggs piezo system, a mini-toggle pickup blend switch and two inputs. Even though this setup provides just about every tone imaginable, the controls never feel cluttered or excessive. We're proud of our Limited Run Hollowbody II.
