The "affordable" guitar market is full to bursting of variations on the same two basic designs. There are bolt-on, double cut, 25.5" scale guitars with pickguards and tremolos, and there are set-neck, mahogany-bodied, 24.75" scale, single cut guitars with humbuckers and a two-piece bridge. While there's absolutely nothing wrong with either of these classic designs, variety is the spice of life.
