Heyho!
We all know that Klon Centaur is probably the most interesting overdrive pedal of all time. Whether is about the secrecy, magic diodes, $1000 price tag or the savvy attitude of it's maker. There's so many Klon Centaur clones or often called 'Klone' on the market right now. And one company called Arc Effects is trying to fill the crowded market with their own Klone. What's so special about it?

To be honest I've never try the original Klon Centaur so I can't compare. But, step aside from the Centaur realm this Klone V2 from Arc Effects in one hell of overdrive pedal. The lows are tight and the highs are sweet. The bass boost toggle makes it even more gnarly. But I found it too aggressive at some settings, I prefer with the bass toggle down.
The clean headroom of Klone V2 is beautiful and the all clean boost capability is a winner.

I probably never gonna spend $1000 for one overdrive pedal, but for $240, why not?
