My take:
The Moai Maea is an aggressive, dirty, classic analog octaver with a ton of character. I found it really fun to play around with all its little quirks and idiosyncrasies. This is NOT a hi-fi digital octave... it is a classic, fuzzy, warped, octave-jumping box that's lots of fun! Best suited to searing lead guitar tones ala Hendrix! :-) Grab one and go nuts!
