Heather Brown of Heather Brown Electronicals and designer of the Blessed Mother Overdrive, faces off against her former circuit sensei, Robert Keeley of Keeley Electronics, in a competition to see who can build the best germanium fuzz. Each contestant will have one hour to build their take on the classic two-transistor fuzz face from the ground up, including drilling cases and designing a circuit board! The competition was judged by Jeorge Tripps (@WayHugeElectronics), Emily Harris (@GetOffset), and Chris Benson (@BensonAmps). Who will come out on top as Germanium Chef!?
Come check out Fretboard Summit 2024 in Chicago from August 23-25. Josh will be hanging out near the JHS booth making pedals and goofing around.
