Friends Pick Friday - Arthur James

Welcome back to Friends Pick Friday, and today we have Arthur James in the shop! A fantastic voice and great player, Art has been playing locally for some time now after having moved around a lot for most of his life. He's involved in a ton of different projects as he's always collaborating with other musicians, and of course has his own solo work that is just a joy to experience. James Anaya sits down to talk about all of this with Art before turning him loose on a couple of great acoustic guitars to play some songs for you all!

For instruments today, we're bringing out the 2016 Gibson Custom Shop L-00, a 'genuine mahogany' small-body acoustic and just one of 75 made! Secondly, we have a northwest-made Greven L-00v, a special ode to the 1934 Gibson L-00 that nails all of the points you'd want on a guitar like this, and has a nice wide fretboard and a big rich sound to back it up. Finally, we have a beautiful 1964 Martin 00-21 which is a beautiful 12-fret 00 size guitar with full Brazilian Rosewood back and sides - it plays great, sounds fantastic, and fits comfortably on stage or on the couch!
