Carr amps latest creation, the Telstar!
Quick sound sample demo of this 17 watt monster. There is absolutely no processing or overdubbing done to the guitar tracks! Simply recorded with an SM57 on the edge of the dust cap and a Rode NT-1a on the cone placed about 2 inches from the grill. Two guitar tracks with a glassy, clean tone and a molten saturated tone. It responds to your fingers better than an This amp wants to be turned on and played!
Preamp based off early tweed Fender amps including an octal 6SL7 preamp tube and tube driven reverb. Unique power section produces 17 watts using an EL-84 and 6L6 tubes. Custom speaker designed for this amp, the Valiant is based off the Eminence Eric Johnson signature. Amazingly loud amp that sounds great an any volume with built in, front panel attenuator. Controls include: Lean/Lush switch, Volume, Tone, Reverb, '53/'58 control, and Power attenuator.
