In part thirteen of the Coffee and Riffs saga, Nicholas Ley from Colourmusic and the Flaming Lips and his boy Boo stop by. Nick is a multi-instrumentalist but has a heavy focus on drums. So he showed us his circuit bent Yamaha DD-5 drum machine. And then we danced to the psychotic fuzz grind beats. At different times the DD-5 ran into the Walrus Audio Deep Six and Mayflower, Mr. Black Gilamondo and Supermoon, Earthquaker Devices Arpanoid, Strymon Blue Sky and EHX Bass Micro Synth. Go ahead and dance. Or trance. Or something.
