Today we're looking at a classic rock combo, a 1962 Gibson Les Paul Custom (SG-cut) and a 1969 Marshall Tremolo 50 "Bluesbreaker"! Starting with the guitar - new frets and a shimmed nut for playability backed up by a trio of 60's Gibson T-Top humbuckers makes this an excellent player with incredible sound, and the perfectly aged Alpine White finish gives it a great look. Our amplifier today, a 1969 Marshall Model 1962 Tremolo 50W... is, on its own merits, an incredible amp. Huge sound that is touch-sensitive and harmonically rich, these amps set the standard for overdriven guitar tones. Add to that the fact that this was previously owned by guitar legend Eric Johnson and you've got an incredible amp for both players and collectors!
