Welcome back to Friends Pick Friday! Today we have a very special friend of the shop, and personal friend to quite a few of us - Ayron Jones!

Ayron is a Seattle native, a killer player with a wide variety of styles - from your classic rock and blues to punk and soul! With the help of Emerald City legends Barrett Martin and Jack Endino, his 2017 release "Audio Paint Job" had a fantastic media and fan reception, it is a must-listen if you haven't yet heard it!

In addition to his own band (featuring Ehssan Karimi on drums and Bob Lovelace on bass), Ayron has played with The Levee Walkers (Seattle's own Mike McCready/Duff McKagen, Barrett Martin), and shared the stage with other greats such as Guns N’ Roses, B.B. King, Run-D.M.C., Public Enemy, Rahkim, Jeff Beck, Robin Trower, Spearhead, Royal Blood, and many more!

Today we walked the shop with Ayron and picked out a really cool all-original (except for nut/refret of course!) 1969 Fender Stratocaster and a 2006 Fender Custom Shop "Dealer Select Wildwood '10's'" '52 Telecaster Relic - both plugged into the excellent Diamond CPR-1 Compressor and amplified by a 1971 silverface Fender Vibrolux Reverb!
