Let's talk about Kemper's built in overdrives effects. HW talks about his favorite overdrives in the Kemper, the Soft shaper and the Green Scream effect. Technically the soft shaper seems to be almost like a boost pedal but it does seem to add some grit when you boost a slightly overdriven profile. The green scream takes it's lead from the Ibanez tube screamer but it also provides a "mix" control allowing us to mix the clean and dirty signal. Stack them together and boom!! We like to treat these two stomps as a double overdrive with gives us 4 options for tones on each profile they are assigned.
