Rossum Evolution Filter vs Moog Sub Phatty - A Comparison by WMD

In this video, Alex conducts a comparison of these two ladder filters. When filtering a single saw wave they sound almost identical, until it comes to the Q compensation "Genus" and "Species" knobs that are unique to the Evolution.

Alex is a huge fan of the classic Moog sound and was looking to integrate a similar voice into his live performance rig which includes a WMD/SSF Monolith Case. He brought in his Sub Phatty for a fun, semi-clinical comparison and decided to make quick a video so he could share the results with you.
