This is the golden age of luthier! So many creative people in the world these days, the small shop can do many things a larger shop cannot. One off custom runs are possible and your creativity cannot be stopped. Want to build a guitar out of a shovel, go ahead! Need a high end acoustic with the wood from your grandfathers tree? I am so amazed at the number of builders that are out there. I stand on the shoulders of some amazing luthier's that taught me: Bob Bendetto, Melvyn Hiscock, Doug, and my grandfather.
