I wanted to put together a video showcasing a Message …. And that message is Good tone should be out there for every walk of life , every body and
“ EveryMan “ .
Making these sets with our ears rather than following the
“ Pre CBS “ recipe was always at the front of our agenda.
For 2 years Mark and I have been fine tuning a set of pickups that will be full bodied throughout , thick and Bold .
Mark would send a set out and I’d play them and say I think we need more top in the neck , body in the bridge etc and this went on for I’d say a good dozen sets ?
We settled on the neck then played with staggers, fine tuned the bridge until finally we finished on what we believe is what we were looking for !!!

Once settled on the set , we discussed the options of keeping the price Low and FAIR …. That’s super important to me - I didn’t want this set to get caught up in cork sniffing circles . It has to be REAL ……
I graft every day in a manual labour job , I’m down in the trenches … and I want to bring good tone with me ..
