http://www.flying-mojo.com The folks at FlyingMojo got ahold of a box of some un used bobbins and wire from the late 60's CBS era Fender, and have created these Hendrix flavored Purple Haze pickups. Think about it...Jimi was using CBS era strats much of the time...not the 50's and early 60's strats so many covet...he was just a dude, diggin' new guitars and picking them up from shops along his too-short journey around our globe. FM has dyed the bobbins Purple and put them in clear plastic covers (you can easily put a set of cream or whatever plastic covers on them instead if you choose).
