To wrap up an incredibly fun series of semi-hollow guitar demos we take a look at and listen to the EVH SA-126, the new guitar created by Wolfgang Van Halen. This guitar has got to be the most anticipated guitar release of 2024. How do I know this? Because since it was first listed for pre-order, this guitar has been perpetually sold out at every retailer. Thanks to my friends @zZoundsMusic we get to demo one today!
This guitar is definitely not what you would expect from EVH. It's a guitar that you wouldn't associated with Eddie Van Halen. And that's the point: this is WOLFGANG'S GUITAR! Wolfgang Van Halen is his own man and musician and this is HIS guitar. And it is a thing of beauty!
We'll spend LOTS of time playing this, trying it with clean tones and dirty tones and trying it as a bluesy guitar, a shoegaze/goth rock guitar and of course tuned down through two high gain amps!

As the thumbnail says, Eddie would be proud.
